I moved to Red Deer with my family from Saskatoon in July 2002 and opened my photography business in October that same year.

I am Program Chair for Central Alberta Maintain Club. I’ve coached soccer and am a Chamber of Commerce member.

I have always been crafty and began scrap booking about 5 years ago with my mom and friends. I have done albums of my trips to Mexico, Jamaica and Florida. I just love putting my pictures into albums I can be proud of.

I have been a Creative Memories Consultant for about 3 years. Through the use of photo safe, cutting edge products, consultants have found a way to keep your precious photos and stories. We show customers safe and meaningful ways to organize memories and keepsake albums, whether they be traditional or digital. Album making not only connects families by preserving their stories, it is also an activity that brings people together with the same passion and interests as they create album pages in a party setting.

I moved to Red Deer in 1996 to follow my husband's career path and have made him stay ever since! We love the sense of community that exists here and the thriving family and small business networks that abound on every block. It certainly took us a couple of years to feel like we belonged here, but like everything else in life you get what you put in.

I spent several years on the Independent Achiever's board and see a future in the community supporting all the activities that having a young family involves you in.

Other than working my days are filled up chasing two busy little boys, age 4 and 3. My R&R and escape is almost always with a book and it is seldom that I don't have a stack sitting on the bedside table.
